FaZe Clan began as FaZe Sniping on YouTube on May 30, 2010, with founders Eric “CLipZ” Rivera, Jeff “Timid” Emann, and Ben “Resistance” Christensen demonstrating their Call of Duty abilities. Members of FaZe came and went throughout the years, but the group's reputation in the gaming world grew gradually. Richard "Banks" Bengston joined FaZe Clan in 2013, boosting the organization's appeal by incorporating lifestyle material into its gameplay videos.

- Guy Oseary
- Sylvia Rhone
- Troy Carter
- DJ Paul

- Kyler "FaZe K1" Murray
Owners, President, and CEO
Jimmy Iovine and Offset are co-owners of FaZe Clan, which has a star-studded roster of investors. Thomas "Temperrr" Oliveira, Yousef "Apex" Abdelfattah, Nordan "Rain" Shat, Brian "Rug" Awadis, Richard "Banks" Bengston, Alexander "Adapt" Prynkiewicz, and Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff are among the other co-owners. Lee Trink is the CEO of FaZe Clan, Greg Selkoe is the president, and Kai Henry is the Chief Strategy Officer.

The FaZe Clan logo has been in use since 2010, with a number of changes and alterations made throughout the years. FaZe Temperrr conceived it, and Joey “Ferox” Ricciuto, a former FaZe graphic designer, created it. Its form is derived from the overlapping letters F (reversed) and C, which stands for the organization's initials, while others think the colors symbolize the nationalities of certain team members.
House
The FaZe Clan House, a large house in Burbank, California, is home to a number of FaZe members. It's the latest in a long line of megamansions that have functioned as FaZe headquarters; the team moved in in April 2020 after previously inhabiting another house in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills area.
The home is a gamer's and content creator's dream come true, including a gym, a gaming area, and a swimming pool. FaZe is allegedly paying a premium for the house's 10 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms, with a monthly rent of $80,000. Banks, Adapt, Jarvis, Rug, Teeqo, Cizzorz, Temperr, TeaWap, and Brandon are among the residents of the home.
How to Become a FaZe Clan Member
FaZe Clan is one of the most sought-after esports companies for up-and-coming pro gamers and influencers, thanks to its $240 million value and star-studded roster. FaZe now sponsors over 80 players and content producers, but the team is always on the lookout for fresh and exciting talent to help propel FaZe forward. So, how can you get access?
Fortunately, we have some information. Vera Salamone, FaZe Clan's director of talent, and Erik Anderson, the organization's head of esports, talked with Business Insider about the organization's hiring process. Here are a few key points to remember:
- The importance of gaming ability cannot be overstated. "I'm looking for the best," Anderson told Business Insider. "I'm searching for the best regardless of your history or where you come from."
- The procedure changes depending on the game. FaZe aims to attract tried-and-true talent for long-running esports titles like Call of Duty, but for newer games like Fortnite, talented online players are on an equal footing with experienced professionals.
- Passion is more important than clout. While having a built-in following may help a potential FaZe member, a genuinely committed and talented player will always beat over a less enthusiastic competitor, even if they have more social media followers.
- You have the option of becoming a content producer or a competitor. Members of FaZe are divided into two categories: high-level professional gamers and entertaining content producers. Don't worry if your response speed isn't fast enough to make the Call of Duty League—you may work as a content producer instead!
