No 1 - Premier League
Yep! You guessed it right. It's the English Premier League or the Premier League as we say. Big names, big clubs, big transfer fees, big talents, big paychecks, big advertisers and broadcasters and the largest fans base, the premier league is undoubtedly the best football league in the world. Even the matches of the lower teams are fully packed and this is a really competitive league where on any given day, anybody beats anybody. The matches are quite competitive, the number of goals per game is also very high and the biggest stars of the game share the stage every week treating us with some amazing footballing masterclasses.
No 2 - La Liga
A lot of competition for the top two spots and some would say that it is interchangeably so. Some would put La liga on their list while some would prefer the Premier League. The Spanish Competition La Liga is also a very famous tournament around the world. Boasting of some of the biggest clubs in the footballing world like Real Madrid and Barcelona, La liga is a very tough and intense competition too. Though the pay and the money spent of transfers i snot as high as the premier league, the competition is still one of the best available in the world. It also is famous for nurturing local and new talent and in this case even better than the premier league. It helps bring out and nurture young talents in the game of football. The only minus point here is the low attendance and the low competition in case of some of the lower placed teams which makes some of the matches a little dull.
No 3 - Seria A
The Italian Serie A is a very loved and followed competition too. It is our third ranked competition in the world. Big clubs like Juventus, Inter, Milan, Roma, Napoli this competition is packed with firecracker teams and firecracker players causing a explosion and making people go in awe week in week out. The quality of football is also very impressive and there is tough competition amongst most teams which makes the competition even more likeable.
No 4 - Bundesliga
The German Bundesliga is also a very loved competition around the world. Boasting of big clubs like Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund etc the German Bundesliga is a very attractive and pleasing to the eye kind of tournament. It boasts of the most passionate fans in the world. The atmosphere in the stadium is more than lively and sometimes even too hostile for the away team. But isn't this what football should be all about? Passion right!
The competition amongst the top ranked teams is very fierce and intense. However there is a substantial gap between the top teams and the lower placed teams making the competition and the matches sometimes too boring which is why this couldn't make it to the top 3 leagues. Yet all in all it still is one of the best leagues in the world improving day by day with a lot of world class stars, world class stadiums and world class talents on display.
No 5 - Ligue 1
The French League is the next on our list. Boasting of world class players like Kylian Mbappe, Neymar Jr etc and clubs like Lile, Paris Saint German (PSG), the french league is a top tier league which is loved by fans all around the world. Record attendances, exciting football on display, a number of big names and some serious football - this league also has all the makings of an amazing contest on show. However the only draw back in this league is the gap between the top teams and the lower teams and also the fact that only team which is PSG keeps winning the tournament year after year which makes the lack of competition a little dull and boring to watch. However, this year French Club Lille surprisingly won the french league by overthrowing Paris Saint German and if these trends can follow and keep up, expect this league to go even further up in the rankings.
